How the place sees itself
The house rests on history and privacy rather than on hospitality. It describes itself as a place „where the stars go to relax and play", in an „exclusive and private atmosphere". What it promises is withdrawal: it calls its accommodation „the ultimate private escape" and a „private Hollywood retreat", several of them with their own access from the street. Cuisine, service and hosts play no part in how it presents itself, and apart from the owner no person of the house is named.
