Not all the rooms are equally convincing.
But the position right on the sea, the roof terraces and above all the jetty out into the water create a feeling for life that goes far beyond classic hotel-keeping.
Hotel · The Unbound Collection by Hyatt · Cannes · Frankreich
The house sees itself as an institution of the Croisette, a „hôtel légendaire inauguré en 1929" that embodies „toute l'essence de la Côte d'Azur". It rests on history, Art Deco architecture and setting, with the setting told as a way of life, the joy of living by the sea with its own beach. It explicitly calls its atmosphere warm, „chaleureuse et accueillante", and sees itself as „le rendez-vous incontournable de la Croisette", a meeting place rather than merely somewhere to stay. People appear mainly as named chefs and designers; staff as hosts barely feature in how it presents itself.
